About our school

Red Hill Public School welcomes all people to our learning community. We are proud of the diversity of educational support we provide through mainstream classes, Special Education Unit, an Early Intervention Support Class, Preschool and playgroup.

Features of the school include the following:

  • The school provides for students from a diverse range of backgrounds
  • The curriculum has literacy, numeracy and technology as high priorities supported by high expectations of students
  • School policies promote good discipline, effective welfare and quality learning in a secure environment
  • The school provides many opportunities in creative arts, music, sport and competitions
  • The Aboriginal Education Policy is being implemented to ensure that curriculum areas have an Aboriginal perspective
  • Students with disabilities receive specialist support and are integrated into mainstream classes as appropriate
  • There is a comprehensive range of Special Education facilities on site. These include Early Intervention and Parents As Teachers centres
  • Student fitness and nutrition are important. A daily exercise routine and church-run breakfast program (three days per week) are conducted
  • The park-like setting of the school is well maintained to promote pride in the school and a sense of belonging for students.
